Where is Mable furniture manufactured?

What materials are Mable furniture made of?

Premium Scandinavian birch plywood, beautiful and durable. The jointing components are imported from Germany, while hinges from Austria. The latter come with 25 years warranty. We use water based varnish from a South African partner.

What is the warranty on Mable furniture?

3 years warranty for faulty workmanship and defective materials

How should I care for my Mable?

Moisture left on a plywood surface may result in staining and swelling, so always use coasters and placemats to protect the Mable's furniture surface, and dry any moisture immediately. Occasionally apply beeswax polish on a clean furniture surface.

SHIPPING

Where do you ship to in South Africa?

We deliver to anywhere in South Africa, directly to your home or office. All delivery and tracking details are sent to your email, and our courier services are provided by FastWay.

What are your shipping costs?

We use FastWay delivery services, and deliveries to all major SA cities are free. If you live off the beaten track, we’ll ask you to cover the cost for the last part of the delivery. Please see the map or insert your post code to check whether you eligible for the free delivery.

How long will my order take to arrive?

Your Mable should take four weeks to arrive. As soon as we receive your order, the Mable team will immediately start making your custom furniture. We'll send you updates throughout the process, so you can follow the progress. Once we ship your Mable, you’ll receive an email with tracking details.

How can I reschedule my order delivery?

Yes - FastWay couriers will re-deliver your parcel to your original address free of charge. Please note that FastWay only offers one free attempt at a re-delivery. Once you have your tracking number, please go to FastWay’s online enquiry to schedule redelivery.

Which payment methods do you accept?

Credit card, Debit card, Instant EFT, Masterpass, SnapScan, or Zapper.

How does the refund process work?

In case of a missing or damaged part prior to delivery, we will send it at no cost. This may take between 7 and 14 days after the proof of damage has been presented and an online form has been completed.
Since all Mable furniture is custom made to your order, we're unfortunately not able to offer refunds.

OTHER

How do I assemble the furniture?

Every Mable furniture piece comes with a personal assembly manual, and each board has a sticker identifying it. Together with the manual, you'll easily be able to find the right order of pieces to be assembled. Then, all you need to do is slide the boards into place.

Can the Mable team do the assembly for me?

Unfortunately not. But the good news is that we've made sure that the assembly process is as easy as possible, with no tools required - not even an Allen Key!

I’ve received my Mable and it doesn’t fit my space. Can I return it?

Yes - if the dimensions from your design (for an item purchased online) don’t match the Mable furniture that arrives at your doorstep.
Other than that, we unfortunately don't allow returns as we can't reuse or resell custom furniture. One of our core values is preventing waste of resources and adding to the landfills, so we kindly ask you to help us in our mission. Please double check the dimensions before you purchase your Mable.
